The municipality is located in the province of Girona, in the heart of the Costa Brava. It is composed of two centers: Calonge, cultural and historical center and Sant Antoni, tourist center of the coast. Its landscape runs from the Gavarres massif to beaches and isolated coves, passing through a vast area of cultivation.
It is home to one of the most important fortresses of the county, the Calonge Castle, and the Torre Valentina watchtower.
The charm of Calonge lies, among other things, in its historic center. Its streets bear witness to its millennial history.
