Calvi is a city located on the northwest coast of Corsica. It is known for its beaches and its half-moon shaped bay. A huge medieval citadel overlooks the marina from the western end of the bay. It is crossed by cobbled streets and hosts the baroque cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Restaurants line the harbor on the esplanade of the Landry quay.
